Today weโre eating at two of the best Mauritian food restaurants I ate at on my entire trip to Mauritius. From stewed stonefish to fresh sea urchins, and the greatest ever Mauritian fish vindaye, we are in for a flavor overdose today in Mauritius!

Chez Marie Noelle (https://maps.app.goo.gl/S3XnPpg3j2dWrVdCA) – Located right along the edge of the lagoon, Chez Marie Noelle is the Queen of locally caught seafood and shellfish. People also come from across the island to eat her insanely delicious stonefish – and if you donโt know how to prepare it, itโs poisonous! Price – 1,500 MUR ($32.31) for everything
Chez Rosy (https://maps.app.goo.gl/kUaeNwYo8qLzVmUq9) – Located in the southern part of Mauritius island at Gris Gris Beach, Chez Rosy is an incredible Mauritian food restaurant and one of the best on the island. We had Creole chicken, octopus curry, but the dish that totally blew me away was the Mauritian fish vindaye! Total price – 1,735 MUR ($37.37) for everything
Le Morne – After so much good food, we took a hike at Le Morne Brabant, an iconic and historical mountain in Mauritius and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a place you canโt miss when youโre in Mauritius!
